Great Geography Challenge

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Great Geography Challenge. As a school community we raised $18,172 which will go towards new playground equipment. 

Well done to all the kids for the effort they put into learning their geography facts and seeking sponsors.

Financial Literacy

As part of our learning financial literacy, the students got to play different money games such as 'Pay Day' and 'Monopoly'.  Through our inquiry this term, they got to keep a record of their own income and expenses and maintain a simple business plan and balance sheet.

KIDS' MARKET

Well done to our budding entrepreneurs for working so hard over the last term learning about how to run a business. 

Today's school-wide Kids' Market was a resounding success - everything sold!

This term we read the poem 'My House' which makes use of different prepositions.

Making kites in Room 18

 The students in Room 18 have been exploring lines of symmetry in pictures, shapes and patterns. They then created their own symmetrical pictures of an insect. The students made kites with their pictures.
