We Are . . . By Room 5

We were really busy for a couple of weeks completing our "We are . . ." poster and postcards. After lots of hard work we finished them and sent them off to Putaruru Primary School. We hope that the class that received them enjoyed reading them as much as we enjoyed making them.

Our poster was full of information about us and where we live. We also got to choose our favourite words, find the longest word we could and even create a 'Found Poem'. We wrote really interesting metaphors about ourselves for the postcards. We thought about what we would be if we were an animal, a food, a building, an article of clothing or a vehicle. We decorated the back of our postcards and when we put them together they showed this message . . .
