Girls Futsal Tournament

Today, we took 5 teams to the ASB to compete in the Wellington region girls futsal tournament.  The girls had an amazing time and despite playing all day long, they still had enough energy to sing all the way home on the bus.  Thanks to our wonderful parents too for their support, and special thanks to David Guo for the photos.

Pyjama Day Fundraiser for the Cancer Society.

Today we had the 'pyjama day' fundraiser for the cancer society that was organised by Aidan Rook from room 6. Aidan wanted the kids at our school to have a fun day and he dedicated what he did to his Uncle Vincent who died of cancer. It was great to see so many kids wearing their pyjamas and onesies and the coin trail was a huge success. It raised $537.20c!!! What a generous community we have! A big congratulations to Aidan for his awesome leadership. Your Uncle would be very proud of you Aidan! And a big thanks to Emma, Natos and James who helped him run the coin trail and they even gave up their morning tea to do this. Great job everyone.
