Ka Tito Au Performance

Today the Senior and Middle Syndicates were privileged to watch the performance Ka Tito Au.
This was brought to us by Schoolfest/NZ
https://www.festival.co.nz/2018/schoolfest/

At the end of the performance, we were able to ask questions about the performance, the actor and the directing.
'Kupe, the great Pacific explorer and navigator, is the hero of this lively, lyrical solo show by treasured local poet and storyteller Apirana Taylor.
Legend has it that Kupe discovered Aotearoa after pursuing Te Wheke-a-Muturangi, a giant octopus that was endangering his people’s fishing grounds in the Pacific. An enchanting tale of Kupe’s many exploits.
A masterful piece of storytelling, Ka Tito Au is part of A Waka Odyssey, the Festival’s celebration of our shared voyaging past and Pacific future'.

Cricket - Room 3

We have all been lucky to have some cricket lessons each week.  So far, we have been learning how to hold the bat properly, bowl a ball accurately and catch a ball with two hands.  We enjoy our cricket lessons and look forward to our next lessons later in the year.
