Wellington Museum Trip
Friday the 22nd of June 2018 the Middle Syndicate boarded two buses and headed into the city for learning experiences at the Wellington Museum.
We happened to be at the waterfront the same day the navy landed one of their helicopters! It was pretty exciting watching them land and then later in the day they invited us for a closer look.
Visiting the Wellington Museum we had workshops which included learning about our harbour, traditional Maori legends, exploring how to look after our harbour, Paddy the harbour dog and exploring the museum.
We also had a puppet show involving some special characters - Nan, her grandson and eels! We have an important part to play looking after our awa.
Lastly exploring our waterfront and all it has to offer. What an incredible day!
