My House Poems by Room 13

This term we read the poem 'My House' which makes use of different prepositions.

Here are some of the poems we wrote about our own homes, along with some 3D creations we made of houses using boxes.

Above my house
is a tall brown chimney.

Beside my house
is a sparkly black trampoline.

Around my house
is a brown sparkly dog.

 Below my house
are spooky spiders.

Inside my house
is a big beautiful family and ME!

Above my house
is the beautiful blue sky.

Beside my house
is a very bouncy trampoline.

Around my house
is a long hedge.

Inside my house
is Fluffy, my bunny and ME!

by Holly

Above my house
is a grey airship.

Beside my house
is a drain.

Around my house
is beautiful nature.

  Underneath my house
is a gas inlet.

  Inside my house
is my whanau and ME!

Above my house
is the glowing evening stars.

Beside my house
is a big springy bouncy trampoline.

Around my house
is a lovely garden and a pond.

 Below my house
is some new concrete and a mole

Inside my house
is my amazing family and ME!
